Dan Klassen is the Vice President of New Business Development for Toyota Material Handling (TMH). In his role, Klassen is responsible for the growth and development of both the Toyota Heavy Duty Division and Automated Solutions team.
Klassen has more than 30 years of experience in Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Human Resources roles. He started his career with Honda of America Manufacturing where he held positions in Manufacturing, Quality, and Human Resources. Since then, Klassen has held a variety of progressive leadership roles with several highly recognized manufacturing companies. Klassen joined Toyota in 2009 as the Senior Operations Leader at Raymond Corporation’s Muscatine manufacturing facility. He transitioned to TMH in Columbus, Indiana in 2016 as Vice President of Quality and Supply Chain before moving to his current role in 2020.
Klassen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from William Penn University and an MBA from the University of Iowa. He and his wife Cathy have three adult children – Matthew, Adam, and Brandon.
